We are delighted to announce our latest upgrade to the DroneControl Ecosystem. Our latest update is packed with features to help you stay on top of hardware maintenance, streamline issue reporting, and manage your teams more efficiently.
Here’s what’s new:
Smarter Hardware Issue Management
Hardware faults happen—but catching and resolving them quickly is now easier than ever.
Raise Hardware Issues: Users can now log faults or issues with any piece of hardware directly in the platform.
Instant Admin Notifications: As soon as an issue is raised, admins are automatically notified by email.
Track & Resolve: Admins can review, manage, and mark issues as resolved, keeping everything organized and transparent.
Fleet Warnings: If unresolved issues exist, affected hardware will now show a warning in the fleet management overview—so you’re never caught off guard.
Maintenance Logging & Visual Inspection Enhancements
Keeping detailed records of maintenance is essential for compliance and safety. This update makes it easier:
Add Maintenance Records: Admins can now log maintenance actions directly on each piece of hardware.
Visual Inspection Attribution: The UI has been updated to clearly display which user added a visual inspection record, so there’s always accountability.
Better Lists, Remembered Preferences
We’ve improved the way hardware is displayed—and made sure your preferences stick.
List View for Drones, GCS, Batteries, and Payloads: You can now view all these components in list form for easier scanning and sorting.
Persistent View Settings: Your list/grid preference is remembered across sessions—no more resetting every time you log in.
Enhanced Team Management
Managing pilot qualifications and onboarding new team members just got easier.
Create & Add Users: Admins can now create new users and assign them to teams directly from the platform.
Automatic Email Invites: New users are notified via email when they’re added to a team—making onboarding seamless.
Track Expiry Dates: The team page now shows each member’s A2CofC and GVC certificate expiry dates at a glance, so you stay ahead of renewals.
These new features are all about reducing friction, increasing visibility, and giving you more control over your operations.
As always, we’re listening—so if you have feedback or feature requests, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re building the future of drone fleet management with you, one update at a time.
Thanks for your support
